Korean designers Je Sung Park and Woo Jung Kwon have developed an invisible umbrella that will keep you dry by repelling rain.  Consisting of a simple plastic stick that creates an artificial wind at the top, the ‘umbrella’ deflects raindrops before they hit you by sucking in air at the bottom. The intensity of this wind-shield can be varied depending on weather condition and number of people sharing the device—the length of the stick is also adjustable.

In the beginning, The Reliquatory was more heavily rooted in Dolly Kei, so maybe it didn’t feel quite right at the time. But now, never having shared it feels like a gross misdemeanor.

REAL LIFE LINKING BOOK FROM MYST 

Creative genius riumplus spent six years making this working replica Linking Book (much larger than the last Linking Book replica we posted about) from the classic adventure game Myst.  It features a self contained, hand built working touchscreen computer that plays every Myst game in the series.  Words can’t begin to describe how many levels of bad ass this project is.  

The Linking Book itself was made from a copy of the same book scanned as a texture reference for the original game.  You can check out the full details and specs on riumplus’ amazing accomplishment over at his website.
